OUR BRIEF: To design, construct, and fit out seven sound-proofed offices and a boardroom from two shell and core office spaces across two floors.

When constructing each office unit we used specialist materials to sound-proof them, as well as supplying and fitting acoustic glazing and doors.

As each unit is relatively compact, and some lack an outside window, we installed small windows between each one. Together with the acoustic glazing to the front, they make the whole floor feel like one big, light office space without sacrificing privacy.

To ensure effective air circulation in the small, sound-proofed office units we created acoustic, maze-like air vents between them. That way the air can flow but does not carry the sound with it.
